Burnham Market is held in High Street , Burnham on Crouch near to the Clock Tower with approx 15 stalls providing furit, vegetables, meat,fish,fashion, DIY goods etc.


Farmers Market
The Farmers Market is held on the 3rd Sunday of each Month at Burnham Carnival Hall


Burnham Scout Hut 7.30pm start on every second Friday of the month


Dengie Icycle Ride
A fun cycle ride through the Dengie 100 starting from Southminster over either a 10 or 20 km route. - New Years Day


Essex Book Festival
Takes place every march with book related events throughout Essex inclduing the Dengie Hundred

Bradwell on Sea Flower Show
Horticultural Show is held on the 1st Saturday in August

Burnham Week
The best week of yacht racing on the East Coast-The week containing August Bank Holiday Monday.

RNLI - Lifeboat Blessing
Both lifeboats and RNLI crew are present for a service on the Quay near the White Harte at 5pm on the Sunday of Burnham Week


Essex Wine Festival
The wine fesival is held at New Hall Vineyard, Purleigh on the first weekend of September

Ride and Stride

The Friends of Essex Churches Trust hold a cycle route around the Dengie Hundred on the Second Saturday in September

Burnham Carnival
The best nightime carnival in Essex - Last Saturday in September. 



A 75 mile race over 2 days along the Essex coastline


Fireworks and Bonfire

The three annual events are St Mary's Church, Burnham on Crouch, Stone Watersports Club, St lawrence and the Prince of wales at Stow Maries.

Remembrance Sunday
The 2nd Sunday in November sees remembrance ceremonies throughout the area including Stow Maries Aerodrome. The biggest ceremony is at Burnham War Memorial.


Santa Special
Trips by steam train to see Santa in his grotto at Mangapps Railway Museum - Last two Saturdays before Christmas.
