Bus Travel

Orminston Rivers Academy and several primary schools operate bus and coach travel to their schools. Whilst much of the travel is paid for by Essex County Council some children can use this service for payment.

Stephenson's and Fords operate most of the local contracts.

Stephenson's operate the Dengie Link

Stephenson's also operate the shopper bus from Burnham on Crouch to Basildon on Thursday mornings and from Southminster to Basildon on Fridays.

These services cover Burnham on Crouch, Southminster, Althorne, Latchingdon, Maylandsea , Steeple , Stow Maries, Cold Norton and Purleigh

Fords provide coach hire and regular excursions

They also operate a shopper service to Chelmsford from Burnham-on-Crouch  and Tillingham via the villages fortnightly on Fridays

Arrow Taxis - DaRT operate two demand responsive services: DaRT5 serves the southern Dengie area whilst the DaRT 99 provides a service in the northern area via Maldon to Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford.

The two services will link up on request.
