St Mary's Church

The church dates back to about 1600 ad with a lovely timber tower.
Some work was carried out in the 18th century but much of the original remains intact.
White House Farm House and Canal
The house dates to mid 17th century although it was restored in the 1930's with exposed timbers at the front.
A private canal, 1.25 miles long ,constructed in 1830 connects White House Farm to the River Blackwater at Southey Creek.
Sadly by 1880 the use of the canal by barges has been discontinued.
