St Barnabas Church

A
small church on a hilltop position built in 1867 with remarkable stained glass
windows fitted in 1868.
In 1920 another superb window was constructed as a war memorial.
The old church was sited about 300 yeard to the north. Sadly there are no remains of the old church to be seen.
Mayland Mill

The
building was a row of 18th century weather board cottages which have a sign
dating them as 1756.
Until
recently the building operated as a public house although in 2004 the use
changed to an Indian themed restaurant
