Burnham Week

Burnham Week is one of the most important sailing weeks on the East Coast.

The week starts on the Saturday of the August Bank holiday weekend for a week of sailing in parallel to Cowes Week.

The week is not only important for the racing but for the social side of yachting with receptions, dinners and entertainment until the early hours at the three main yacht clubs and other suitable venues in town.

The week finishes on the final Saturday with the Town Cup which is a handicap race for the entire fleet.

the presentation ceremony on the Quay is then climaxed with a superb fireworks display to celebrate the end of yet another great Burnham Week.
