Bradwell Table Tennis Club
Bradwell Table Tennis Club was one of the founder members of the Burnham and District Table Tennis League in 1965.
Our club has been an ever present member of the League for nearly 40 years during which time it may not have won the Division one title although it established a reputation as one of the friendliest clubs in the league.
The Club was initially formed by sports club members of Bradwell Nuclear Power Station although local residents quickly became involved in the teams.
Sadly due to to decommissioning of the power station the Sports and Social Club has been disbanded and the clubhouse has been demolished which has taken away the home venue of Bradwell Table Tennis Club.
Attempts to find another venue in Bradwell have proved unsuccessful and the Club has ceased to function.
Some of the players have retired and the remainder have formed teams at other clubs.
In honour of the many past players the club history pages remain on line
If anyone wishes to play table tennis there are still a number of local clubs so please contact the web master via the e mail icon and you will be put in touch with a suitable club.
