An old pit stocked with Roach, Rudd, Perch and Chub. The pits are noted for exceptionally large Eels.

Parking is on the track outside the pit.

Chelmsford and Blackwater Canal

The whole of the canal from Chelmsford to Heybridge is open for fishing including the Section at Woodham Walter

Bream, Tench, Chub, Perch, Pike, Roach and Carp are found in the canal often in large shoals.

Oak Lakes Fisheries, Burnham Road, Southminster

The biggest commercially run fishing in the area.

There are several lakes. Pipe Lake has several species of Carp. Predator Lake has pike and huge Catfish. Match Lake has Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach and Rudd while Oak lake has Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Bream and Gudgeon.
