VILLAGE INDEX

Bradwell Outdoors is a sailing centre at Bradwell on Sea run by Essex County Council.

The centre is mainly aimed at teenagers offering a variety of activities on the river and on land.

Accommodation is available on site.

Courses on offer for all ages include

• RYA Powerboating
• RYA GMDS/ VHF radio use
• RYA First Aid
• RYA Navigation and safety
• RYA Coastal Skipper / Daymaster
• ITEC ( International Certificate of Competence) and CEVNI test.
• RYA Dinghy - Beginners, Improvers , Refresher and Instructor
• RYA multi hull/ catamaran

Storage/ launching is also available for privately owned dinghies

The centre also helps  Duke of Edinburgh groups to complete expeditions and training
