St Thomas Church Bradwell

The original Parish Church in Bradwell was built
in the fourteenth century .The church was added to over the years with the
Tower added in 1706 and the nave and chancel renewed in 1864.
The East end of the nave is an early 16th century brick gable.
Several of the original 14th century head-stops are set into the 19th century
east window.
The font, which dates from the 14th century, is an octagonal bowl with four
ugly heads reaching up from the stem.
Several brasses survive- the oldest of which, is found on the north wall of the
chancel, dates from 1526 in memory of Margaret Wyott.
