The Club makes use of the historic Bradwell Quay that adjoins the Club site as well as nearby Bradwell Marina.
The great location offers River Sailing on the Blackwater or Colne or sailing on the East Coast of Essex.
Racing is organised at regular intervals using a handicap system that allows participation from many classes of yachts.
Cruisers are a very active section .
One of the highlights of the year for the club is the bi-annual Commodores Cruise that seas a small flotilla of cruisers travelling in convoy to a Holland or some other long distance destination. This event is particularly good for less experienced cruiser owners who can learn from the experience members the best way to tackle long journeys.
